Arsenal delivered a commanding performance against Lille in the second round of the UEFA Champions League league phase, turning a tight contest into a comprehensive victory with a devastating spell of attacking football at the Emirates Stadium.

The French visitors produced a solid first-half display, keeping the Gunners at bay and heading into the break with their goal intact. However, the resilience of Lille eventually crumbled under the pressure from the European runners-up, who found another gear after the interval.

The decisive spell came between the 64th and 71st minutes, when Arsenal struck three times in quick succession. Jurrien Timber opened the scoring before Eberechi Eze added a second. Bukayo Saka then completed the devastating three-goal burst, sealing a convincing win for the north London side.
