PSG - Brest 1:0

Paris Saint-Germain moved to the brink of another Ligue 1 title after grinding out a hard-fought victory over Brest in a tense encounter that tested both their patience and resilience. With the visitors already safe and playing without pressure, PSG were forced to battle until the closing stages before finally finding the breakthrough.

The decisive moment arrived in the 82nd minute when rising star Désiré Doué stepped up to deliver the winning goal, sending the home crowd into celebration and pushing Paris Saint-Germain within touching distance of domestic glory. The late strike capped another crucial night for Luis Enrique’s side, who continue to show the mentality of champions despite an exhausting schedule.

Fresh from demanding UEFA Champions League battles, PSG looked far from their fluent best for large parts of the match. Brest defended with discipline and threatened on the counterattack, frustrating the Parisian attack and forcing the hosts into a nervy contest deep into the second half.

But title-winning teams often find a way, and that is exactly what Paris Saint-Germain did. Thanks to Doué’s late intervention, the reigning champions now need only avoid defeat against Lens in the final round to officially retain the Ligue 1 crown.
