Bayern Munich Snatch Late Draw in Six-Goal Thriller Against Heidenheim

Bayern Munich narrowly avoided a shock defeat, rescuing a dramatic 3–3 draw against Heidenheim deep into stoppage time. What looked like a routine outing quickly turned into a chaotic and revealing encounter for the German champions.
Head coach Vincent Kompany opted to rest key starters, giving opportunities to squad players—but the decision backfired early on. Budu Zivzivadze and Eren Dinkci stunned the hosts, firing Heidenheim into a 2–0 lead and exposing serious defensive vulnerabilities.
Leon Goretzka stepped up to restore parity with a well-taken brace, but the growing tension forced Vincent Kompany to turn to his big names. Harry Kane, Joshua Kimmich, and Michael Olise were introduced in a bid to regain control.
Even so, Bayern Munich needed a slice of fortune to escape defeat. In stoppage time, Michael Olise struck the post, only for the ball to rebound off goalkeeper Kevin Müller Ramaj and into the net for a dramatic own goal that sealed the 3–3 result.
