Arsenal Reclaim Top Spot in Premier League

Arsenal are back at the summit of the Premier League after edging past Newcastle United 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium. With Manchester City briefly overtaking them in the title race, Mikel Arteta’s side knew there was no margin for error.
The decisive moment arrived early. In just the 9th minute, Eberechi Eze produced a moment of pure quality, curling a beautifully executed free-kick into the top corner following a cleverly worked set-piece routine. It was a goal worthy of winning any match, and ultimately, it did.
Arsenal had opportunities to extend their lead, but the second half brought tension and pressure. Despite their recent struggles, Newcastle United responded with intent. David Raya was called into action, producing a vital save to deny Sandro Tonali, while Yoane Wissa squandered a golden chance to level the score soon after.
