Liverpool - Crystal Palace 3:1

Liverpool delivered a composed and clinical performance at Anfield, defeating Crystal Palace 3-1.

The hosts took control midway through the first half, with Alexander Isak opening the scoring in the 35th minute. The Swedish forward finished confidently from close range, converting from the centre of the box.

Momentum quickly shifted further in Liverpool’s favour. Not long after, Andrew Robertson doubled the advantage in stunning fashion — the experienced Scot surged past the Crystal Palace defence before calmly slotting home in a one-on-one situation.

Crystal Palace did manage to pull one back in the 71st minute, though the goal came under controversial circumstances. Woodman made an initial save but appeared injured in the process. While he appealed for attention, Daniel Muñoz reacted quickest, firing into an unguarded net rather than putting the ball out of play.

Despite that moment of tension, Liverpool remained in control. Deep into stoppage time, Florian Wirtz sealed the victory with a powerful finish, capping off a professional display and ensuring all three points stayed at Anfield.
