Official: Roberto De Zerbi Appointed as New Tottenham Head Coach

Tottenham Hotspur have officially confirmed the appointment of Roberto De Zerbi as their new head coach, with the Italian tactician signing a five-year deal at the North London club.
The former Shakhtar Donetsk manager arrives at a crucial moment in the season. With just seven games remaining in the Premier League campaign, Spurs find themselves in a precarious position — sitting just one point above the relegation zone.
De Zerbi, widely respected for his progressive, possession-based style of play, began his managerial journey in Italy, taking charge of clubs such as Foggia, Palermo, Benevento, and Sassuolo, where he first gained widespread recognition for his attacking philosophy.
In May 2021, Roberto De Zerbi moved to Shakhtar Donetsk, where he enjoyed immediate success, winning both the Ukrainian Premier League title and the Ukrainian Super Cup. Following his departure in the summer of 2022, he continued to build his reputation in European football with spells at Brighton & Hove Albion (2022–2024) and Olympique de Marseille (2024–2026).
