Anna Lewandowska, the wife of Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski, has confirmed that the Polish forward is set to leave the Catalan club at the end of the season. She made the comments in an interview with club media.

“We’ll see how this season unfolds at Barcelona, because, let’s say, it will most likely be my husband’s last here… That’s why we need to squeeze every last drop out of this time. Let’s enjoy every moment, every match, every meeting with the fans, because one day all of this will be missed.”

“I hope that Barcelona supporters will remember him for many years to come, and that future generations will not forget him, because he has achieved something truly great. All I can say is how incredibly proud I am of him. I know how much every single year at the club means to him.”

“I also know that this will not be the end of his career,” she added, offering insight into the future of the 37-year-old striker.
