RB Leipzig failed to beat Bundesliga strugglers St. Pauli

RB Leipzig were left frustrated as a dramatic stoppage-time penalty denied them a vital Bundesliga victory at the Millerntor-Stadion. Against all expectations, relegation-threatened St. Pauli held the visitors to a 1–1 draw in a rescheduled fixture that could have significant implications at both ends of the table.
The visitors looked on course for all three points when Yan Diomande broke the deadlock in the second half. His fierce effort took a deflection off a defender, wrong-footing the goalkeeper and giving RB Leipzig a deserved lead after a period of sustained pressure.
But football, once again, saved its biggest moment for the very end. Deep into stoppage time, David Raum conceded a penalty, and Martijn Kaars showed remarkable composure to convert from the spot in the 93rd minute, sending the home crowd into raptures.
