Manchester United let victory slip away at Burnley

Burnley - Manchester United 2:2

The dismissal of Ruben Amorim has failed to deliver an instant cure for Manchester United. Under interim boss Darren Fletcher, the Red Devils were once again left searching for answers — and once again walked away without a win, despite coming agonisingly close.

Manchester United were forced into recovery mode after falling behind, but this time they showed a fighting response. Benjamin Sesko emerged as the key figure, first dragging his side level before completing the turnaround and putting United in front. For a brief moment, it felt like the visitors had finally wrestled control of a chaotic contest.

But this season, nothing comes easily for the Red Devils. The game turned into a set of wild, nerve-shredding swings — and once more, the balance shifted away from them. Burnley refused to fold, found an equaliser, and restored parity in a match that never truly settled.
