Nottingham Forest End Five-Game Winless Run

Nottingham Forest finally found a happy ending after a difficult run of form, claiming their first win in five league matches with a dramatic 2–1 victory away at West Ham United.
The game started badly for Forest. In the 13th minute, Murillo diverted the ball into his own net following a corner, giving the Hammers an early advantage. Early in the second half, Crysencio Summerville appeared to double the lead with a stunning first-time strike.
However, VAR came to Forest’s rescue. Officials spotted a marginal offside in the build-up some seven seconds before the shot, and the goal was ruled out — a turning point in the match.
From that moment on, momentum slowly shifted. Fortune turned its back on the London side, and Forest made it count. Nicolas Dominguez struck an instinctive yet spectacular goal from a corner, dragging the visitors level.
Late drama followed. In the 89th minute, Morgan Gibbs-White kept his nerve from the penalty spot, sealing a vital win and ending Forest’s four-game losing streak. The final whistle confirmed a result that few would have predicted earlier in the evening.
