Oliver Glasner Set to Leave Crystal Palace in the Summer

Renowned football insider Fabrizio Romano has reported that Oliver Glasner is preparing to leave Crystal Palace, with the Austrian coach already exploring new opportunities ahead of the summer of 2026.
According to Romano, Glasner has no intention of extending his current contract, which is due to expire at the end of the 2025/26 season. While the Palace hierarchy have yet to make any public statements, the writing appears to be on the wall regarding the club’s long-term managerial future.
The situation is hardly a surprise. During his time at Selhurst Park, Glasner has repeatedly voiced frustration with Crystal Palace’s transfer strategy. Key players have been allowed to leave one after another, even as the manager continued to deliver competitive results and stabilise the team in the Premier League.
Despite guiding the Eagles through challenging periods, the lack of squad reinforcement has reportedly taken its toll. Romano adds that Glasner is now actively searching for a more ambitious project — one that aligns with his desire to compete at a higher level and with greater backing.
