Desire Doué Wins the Golden Boy Award

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Desire Doué has been named the winner of the Golden Boy, the award given annually to Europe’s best young footballer — news that had already been reported earlier.
Accepting the trophy, Doué shared a few heartfelt words:
“It’s a great honor to be here. This trophy means a lot to me, and I dedicate it to my family, who have supported me every step of the way. Thanks to the president, the coach, the staff, everyone working behind the scenes at PSG, and of course my teammates.”
Last season, Doué helped PSG capture a historic clean sweep of trophies, including the club’s first-ever UEFA Champions League title. In the final against Inter, the young winger scored a brace, leading the Parisians to a stunning 5–0 victory.
Now 20 years old, Doué continues to impress: he has made eight appearances this season, recording three goals and three assists. His current market value is estimated at €90 million.
