Manchester City - Bournemouth 3:1

Manchester City cruised to a comfortable victory at the Etihad Stadium, defeating Bournemouth 3–1 to move up to second place in the Premier League table.

Star striker Erling Haaland once again proved unstoppable, netting a brace to put City firmly in control. The third goal came from 20-year-old academy talent Nico O’Reilly, whose composed finish sealed the result for the hosts.

Bournemouth managed a goal through American midfielder Tyler Adams, but it was little more than a brief interruption in City’s dominance. With this win, Pep Guardiola’s side continue to apply pressure at the top of the standings as the 2025–26 campaign gathers pace.
