Official: Bayern Munich Extend Contract with Head Coach Vincent Kompany
FC Bayern Munich have officially announced the contract extension of head coach Vincent Kompany, with the Belgian manager signing a new deal that will keep him at the Allianz Arena until the summer of 2029.
Vincent Kompany: “I’m grateful, honoured and would like to thank FC Bayern for the trust and the working environment they’ve given me from day one. It feels like I’ve been here a lot longer and that I know the club well. It’s been a great experience so far. We’ve started on a wonderful journey. Let’s keep working hard and celebrate much more success!”.
Kompany, now 39, took charge of Bayern Munich in the summer of 2024. In his debut season, he guided the club to the Bundesliga title and also secured the German Super Cup, laying the foundation for what many fans hope will be a new era of sustained dominance both domestically and in Europe.
