France Football has officially announced the shortlist for the Johan Cruyff Trophy

France Football has officially announced the shortlist for the Johan Cruyff Trophy, awarded annually to the world’s best football coach. The 2025 edition features five elite tacticians, all of whom led their clubs to major silverware last season.

Here are the five nominees for Manager of the Year 2025:
Antonio Conte (Napoli) – Guided the Partenopei to the Serie A title
Luis Enrique (Paris Saint-Germain) – Won Ligue 1, the French Cup, French Super Cup, and the UEFA Champions League
Hansi Flick (Barcelona) – Captured the La Liga, Spanish Cup, and Spanish Super Cup titles
Enzo Maresca (Chelsea) – Lifted the UEFA Conference League and the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup
Arne Slot (Liverpool) – Crowned Premier League champion in his debut season at Anfield

The trophy is named in honour of the legendary Dutch icon Johan Cruyff, and celebrates tactical excellence and managerial achievement across both domestic and international competitions.

Last year’s award was won by Carlo Ancelotti, who led Real Madrid to a historic season before taking over the Brazil national team this summer.

The 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony, including the presentation of the Johan Cruyff Trophy, will take place in Paris on September 22.
