James Maddison Ruled Out for at Least Six Months
Tottenham Hotspur have officially confirmed that star midfielder James Maddison will undergo surgery after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee.
The injury will keep the 28-year-old playmaker out of action for approximately six to seven months, ruling him out for a significant portion of the upcoming campaign — and potentially impacting his chances of representing England at major international fixtures during that time.
Last season, Maddison played a key role for Spurs, making 45 appearances across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 11 assists.
