FC Heidenheim - Borussia D

Fresh off their victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, Borussia Dortmund carried that momentum into the Bundesliga, ending their poor run of form with a hard-fought 2-1 win against Heidenheim.

Dortmund took the lead in the 33rd minute when Guirassy broke free and slotted the ball into the bottom corner with a composed finish. The visitors doubled their advantage in the second half, as Ramy Bensebaini set up Beier, who made no mistake in front of goal.

Heidenheim pulled one back almost immediately through Honsak, but it wasn’t enough to salvage a result.
