Bayern Munich returned from the international break in dominant fashion, cruising to a decisive 3-0 victory over Augsburg in the opening match of Bundesliga’s Matchday 11.

Dominance Without Results – At First

Despite overwhelming control in the first half, with 79% possession and 13 attempts on goal (5 on target), Bayern struggled to break through Augsburg's defence. Luck and missed opportunities kept the scoreboard level, frustrating the home side and their fans at the Allianz Arena.

Kane Opens the Scoring

The breakthrough finally came on the hour mark. A handball in Augsburg’s penalty area left the referee with no choice but to point to the spot. Harry Kane, as reliable as ever, converted the penalty with precision, continuing his streak of flawless finishes from the spot to make it 1-0.

A Late Show from Kane

As the match entered injury time, Kane wasn’t done yet. The English striker struck twice more in quick succession, completing a stunning hat-trick and putting the result beyond doubt at 3-0.

Bayern's Statement of Intent

Under Vincent Kompany, Bayern sent a clear message to their Bundesliga rivals: the battle for the title will be fought on their terms. Meanwhile, Augsburg's winless run extended to three matches, leaving the visitors with mounting concerns.
