РБ Leipzig - Freiburg 3:1

In the eighth round of the German Bundesliga, league leaders Leipzig hosted Freiburg.

The hosts were embarrassed by a quick goal into their own net, when Grifo Doan sent the ball into the net past the goalkeeper.

Leipzig attacked ineffectively in the first half, but with the whistle for the second half everything changed. In the 47th minute, Orban made the score 1-1 with a shot into the bottom corner after a pass from Henriks. Ten minutes later, Geertruida responded to a free-kick and sent the ball under the bar. Openda scored the home side's third goal to finish the game - after Silva's pass, he beat the Freiburg goalkeeper.

Leipzig have 20 points and become the sole leader of the Bundesliga at least until Bayern's match against Bochum tomorrow.
