Harry Kane’s Record-Breaking Bayern Salary Revealed

Bayern Munich have reportedly agreed to pay Harry Kane more than €30 million per year following the England captain’s contract extension until 2029. The German champions announced the new deal on Thursday, with further details of the striker’s record-breaking wages now emerging.
The Athletic previously reported that Kane had become the highest-paid player in European football in terms of basic salary, although the exact figures were not disclosed. However, Sky Germany has now revealed that the 30-year-old is set to earn more than €30 million annually before tax, including performance-related bonuses.
Those bonuses are linked to a range of achievements, including domestic league titles, success in the Champions League, winning another Ballon d’Or, as well as individual targets such as goals scored and assists provided.
According to Sky, the agreement makes Kane the highest-paid player at Bayern Munich and in the Bundesliga. When potential bonuses are included, his overall package places him among the three highest earners in European football.
One further detail has also emerged: the contract does not contain an option to extend Kane’s stay at the Allianz Arena by another year. Unless a new agreement is reached, his current deal will therefore run until the summer of 2029, with no automatic extension to 2030.
