Bayern Munich returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion, crushing RB Leipzig 6-1 to end their run of two consecutive draws. Vincent Kompany's side dominated proceedings from start to finish, exposing the visitors' defensive weaknesses in what proved to be a hugely one-sided encounter at the Allianz Arena.

The standout performer was Colombian winger Luis Díaz, who stole the show with a superb hat-trick. His pace, movement and clinical finishing proved too much for Leipzig to handle as Bayern turned the match into an attacking showcase.

Aleksandar Pavlović and Michael Olise also found the net, while Harry Kane completed the rout with a goal of his own. The England captain was equally influential as a creator, registering three assists to underline his importance to Bayern's attacking play.

Leipzig goalkeeper Maarten Vandevoordt was left with little protection from his defence but still produced several important saves, preventing the scoreline from becoming even more embarrassing for the visitors. His interventions helped spare RB Leipzig a potential double-digit defeat.
