Juventus were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw away to Cagliari in Serie A, despite dominating large spells of the contest. The hosts took the lead through Daniel Maldini in the 20th minute, leaving the Turin giants chasing the game. Despite enjoying overwhelming possession and creating pressure, Juventus had to wait until the closing stages to find an equaliser, with Randal Kolo Muani rescuing a point for the visitors.

However, the drama did not end with the final whistle. Tensions boiled over on the touchline as Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti became embroiled in a heated verbal exchange with his Cagliari counterpart, Fabio Pisacane. The confrontation threatened to turn physical, prompting referee Matteo Marcenaro to show red cards to both managers.
