Real Madrid Cruise Past Schalke as Lunin and Voloshyn Both Feature

Real Madrid rounded off their pre-season preparations with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Schalke, giving Carlo Ancelotti's side a confidence boost ahead of the new La Liga campaign.
Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring after just five minutes, capitalising on a defensive error to put the Spanish giants in front. Dean Huijsen doubled the advantage in the 20th minute, heading home from an inviting cross by Arda Güler as Madrid took firm control of the contest.
Real Madrid continued to dominate after the interval, with Carlos Espí adding a third goal in the 57th minute to put the result beyond doubt. The victory capped a largely routine final test before the start of competitive action in Spain.
The match also offered a notable opportunity for two Ukrainian goalkeepers. Thibaut Courtois started between the posts for Madrid before making way for Andriy Lunin at half-time. The Ukrainian goalkeeper was called into action early in the second period, producing a save to preserve his side's clean sheet.
There was another Ukrainian appearance late on, with Illia Voloshyn replacing Lunin in the 86th minute. With both goalkeepers featuring in the final pre-season fixture, the game provided an additional spotlight on the Ukrainian contingent at Real Madrid.
