Yan Diomande Set to Join Real Madrid in €115m Deal

One of the summer's longest-running transfer sagas finally appears to be reaching its conclusion. According to multiple insider accounts on X, Yan Diomande is on the verge of completing a blockbuster €115 million move to Real Madrid.
Reports suggest that RB Leipzig agreed to sell the Ivory Coast international several days ago. However, the Bundesliga club reportedly asked the Spanish giants to keep the agreement confidential until they secured a replacement for the highly rated defender.
Diomande is also understood to have agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with Real Madrid. An official announcement is expected later this week, bringing an end to months of speculation surrounding one of European football's most talked-about transfer targets.
If the deal is confirmed, Diomande will become the sixth signing of the summer for José Mourinho's Real Madrid, following the arrivals of Marc Cucurella, Denzel Dumfries, Espe, Ibrahima Konaté and Bernardo Silva.
