Trabzonspor could be on the verge of completing one of the most sensational transfers in the club's history, with multiple Turkish media outlets reporting that an agreement has been reached on personal terms with Mohamed Salah.

While the move has not been officially confirmed by either party, the reports follow growing speculation over recent days that Trabzonspor had emerged as the surprise frontrunner in the race to sign the Egyptian superstar.

According to the latest claims, head coach Fatih Tekke personally held talks with Salah earlier in the day in an effort to convince the forward that Trabzonspor is the right destination for the next chapter of his career.

Reports also suggest that Beşiktaş spent several weeks trying to lure Mohamed Salah to Turkey but were ultimately unsuccessful, leaving Trabzonspor in pole position to secure the blockbuster signing.

If the transfer is completed, Salah would become a teammate of Ukrainian internationals Ruslan Malinovskyi and Arsenii Batagov, adding even more star power to an ambitious Trabzonspor squad.
