Ronaldo and Portugal Held by Colombia

Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal entered Saturday's decisive clash against Colombia knowing that victory would secure top spot in Group K and potentially offer a more favourable route through the FIFA World Cup knockout stages.
Portugal had opened their campaign with a frustrating draw against DR Congo before bouncing back in emphatic fashion with a 5-0 victory over Uzbekistan. That result left Roberto Martinez's side on four points heading into the final group fixture, with first place still firmly within reach.
However, the contest ended in a hard-fought 0-0 draw, allowing Colombia to finish top of Group K with seven points, while Portugal settled for second place on five.
