Morocco - Haiti 4:2

Morocco secured their place in the FIFA World Cup 2026 knockout rounds after overcoming a spirited challenge from Haiti in one of the most entertaining matches of the group stage.

Despite dominating large stretches of the game, the North Africans found themselves trailing on two separate occasions. Yet each time Morocco responded with composure and determination, refusing to allow the underdogs to seize control of the contest.

The match developed into a remarkable battle between relentless Moroccan pressure and resilient Haitian resistance. While Haiti repeatedly punished defensive lapses, they spent much of the evening pinned back inside their own half as Morocco dictated the tempo.

The Atlas Lions controlled possession for nearly 70 percent of the match and continuously created chances. In addition to conceding four goals, the Haitian goalkeeper was forced into eight saves from shots on target, producing a series of impressive stops to keep his side in contention for long periods.

However, the sustained pressure eventually proved decisive. As the game wore on, Morocco's superior quality and attacking depth began to tell, allowing them to regain control and ultimately put the result beyond doubt.
