Luis Enrique has been crowned Manager of the Season by Goal after guiding Paris Saint-Germain to a second consecutive UEFA Champions League triumph.
The Spanish coach has enjoyed a remarkable campaign with PSG, further cementing his reputation as one of the most influential managers in world football. His achievements were enough to earn him top spot in Goal's annual ranking of the season's best coaches.
A total of 20 managers were included in the shortlist, with some of the biggest names in European football featuring prominently. Notably, legendary Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola narrowly missed out on a place in the top 10, finishing in 11th position.
The top 10 ranking is as follows:
1. Luis Enrique (Paris Saint-Germain)
2. Mikel Arteta (Arsenal)
3. Vincent Kompany (Bayern Munich)
4. Unai Emery (Aston Villa)
5. Cesc Fabregas (Como)
6. Hansi Flick (Barcelona)
7. Cristian Chivu (Inter Milan)
8. Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth)
9. Francesco Farioli (Porto)
10. Pierre Sage (Lens)
As has often been the case in recent years, the Premier League boasts the highest number of representatives in the top 10, with three managers making the list. However, the English top flight no longer enjoys overwhelming dominance, as both Serie A and Ligue 1 contributed two coaches each to the final ranking.
