Sevilla - Real 0:1

Real Madrid claimed a hard-fought 1-0 victory away to Sevilla at the iconic Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium, with Vinícius Júnior scoring the decisive goal after an assist from Kylian Mbappé.

Despite the defeat, it was still ultimately a positive evening for the Andalusian side, as results elsewhere confirmed Sevilla’s survival in La Liga for another season.

The hosts began the match with intensity and aggression, creating several dangerous opportunities during the opening stages but failing to capitalise on their bright start. That missed momentum proved costly once Real Madrid found their rhythm.

The breakthrough arrived through the ever-dangerous Vinícius Júnior, who calmly finished after excellent work from Kylian Mbappé. From that point onward, Carlo Ancelotti’s side largely controlled the tempo and looked comfortable in possession.

Sevilla struggled to maintain the same attacking energy after conceding, while Real Madrid continued to threaten on the counterattack throughout the second half.

Late in the match, highly-rated Argentine talent Franco Mastantuono, introduced from the bench, came close to doubling Madrid’s lead but saw his effort crash against the post.
