Bayern Munich turned their UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg into a mere formality, completing a ruthless demolition of Atalanta with a 4-1 victory at the Allianz Arena. Following their staggering 6-1 win in Italy, the German giants sealed a 10-2 aggregate triumph.

From the very first whistle in Munich, it was clear there would be no miracle comeback. Bayern dominated possession with authority, pinning Atalanta deep inside their own half. The opening goal, however, arrived via VAR intervention rather than open play. A strike from Harry Kane struck a defender’s hand, and after a review, the referee pointed to the spot.

The penalty drama briefly injected tension into an otherwise one-sided contest. Kane saw his initial effort saved, but Atalanta's celebrations were cut short as the goalkeeper was adjudged to have moved off his line prematurely.
