Benfica - Porto 2:2

The latest Primeira Liga clássico between Benfica and FC Porto ended in a dramatic 2–2 draw, keeping the balance of power unchanged at the top of the Portuguese championship after matchday 25.

The night began poorly for Benfica goalkeeper Anatolii Trubin, who was forced to pick the ball out of his net twice in the first half. FC Porto made a confident start and took the lead in the 10th minute through Victor Froholdt, whose precise finish stunned the home crowd at Estádio da Luz.

Just before the break, the visitors doubled their advantage. Kacper Pietuszewski finished a swift attacking move to make it 2–0, putting FC Porto firmly in control and leaving Benfica with a mountain to climb.

However, the hosts showed impressive character after the interval. Andreas Schjelderup reignited hope in the 69th minute, reducing the deficit with a well-taken strike that shifted the momentum of the match.

As the clock ticked towards full time, Benfica completed the comeback. Midfielder Leandro Barreiro produced a composed finish late in the game to level the score and send the home supporters into celebration.
