João Pedro joins elite group of Brazilian Premier League scorers

Chelsea forward João Pedro has become just the fourth Brazilian player in Premier League history to score 10 or more goals in two consecutive seasons.
According to Opta statistics, such consistent goal-scoring remains a rarity among Brazilian players in the Premier League. Before João Pedro, only three Brazilians had managed the same feat. The benchmark still belongs to Roberto Firmino, who achieved the milestone across four consecutive seasons, from 2015/16 to 2018/19.
More recently, the 10-goal mark in back-to-back seasons was reached by Richarlison in 2018/19 and 2019/20, and by Matheus Cunha in 2023/24 and 2024/25.
