The National Football League has officially confirmed that it will stage its first-ever regular season game in France in the autumn of 2026. The historic fixture will be played at the Stade de France, with the New Orleans Saints already confirmed as one of the participating teams. The opponent and exact date will be announced at a later stage.

The Paris game will mark the 63rd NFL regular season match played outside the United States since the league began its international series in 2005.

France is home to more than 14 million NFL fans, making it the league’s third-largest market in Europe after Germany and the United Kingdom. As noted by NFL Europe and Asia-Pacific managing director Brett Gosper, the league sees France as a long-term priority.

In addition to Paris, the NFL has already scheduled international games in London, Munich, Madrid, Rio de Janeiro and, for the first time, Melbourne in 2026.
