Barcelona maintained their impressive momentum in the La Liga title race with a hard-earned victory over CA Osasuna on Matchday 16. The spotlight at Camp Nou belonged to Raphinha, as the Brazilian winger struck twice to secure a 2–0 win for the Catalans.

The hosts dominated large periods of the contest, controlling possession and tempo, yet Osasuna remained a threat on the counter. The visitors even thought they had scored twice, only for both goals to be ruled out following VAR intervention — first for offside, then for a foul in the build-up.

After VAR also chalked off a Ferran Torres effort at the other end, Barcelona finally made their pressure count midway through the second half. Raphinha finished a lightning-fast counter-attack with a precise strike, breaking the deadlock and lifting the home crowd.

The Brazilian was not done there. Late in the game, a defensive error from Osasuna gifted Raphinha a second opportunity, and he reacted sharply to turn the loose ball into the net, effectively sealing the result.

The win keeps Barcelona marching confidently at the top of La Liga, extending their advantage over Real Madrid to seven points and reinforcing their status as the team to beat in Spain.
