From Cardiff to Wembley: UEFA Confirms Schedule for Euro 2028

UEFA has officially released the key details of the match schedule for the UEFA Euro 2028, which will take place across the United Kingdom and Ireland. The announcement marks an important milestone on the road to one of the most anticipated tournaments in recent football history.
The championship will kick off on June 9, 2028, at the National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff with a Group A match. Eight of the nine host stadiums — all except Wembley Stadium — will host the Round of 16 fixtures, while the quarter-finals will be spread across all four host associations: Dublin Arena (Ireland), Hampden Park in Glasgow (Scotland), the National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff (Wales), and Wembley Stadium in London (England).
The final week of the tournament will belong entirely to Wembley. The semi-finals are set for July 4 and 5, with the grand final taking place on July 9 — once again under the iconic arch of London’s legendary stadium. It promises to be a fitting stage for Europe’s finest national teams to chase continental glory.
UEFA also confirmed three official kick-off times for the tournament: 15:00, 18:00, and 21:00 CEST. The Euro 2028 Final will begin at 18:00 CEST (17:00 local time)..
