Phil Foden Named UEFA Champions League Player of the Week

Phil Foden, the attacking midfielder for Manchester City, has been voted the UEFA Champions League Player of the Week following his standout performance in the latest round of fixtures.
The 24-year-old England international netted a brilliant brace in City’s 4–1 victory over Borussia Dortmund, once again proving his growing influence in Pep Guardiola’s star-studded squad.
In the fan voting, Foden beat out tough competition, including Victor Osimhen of Galatasaray — who scored a hat-trick against Ajax in a 3–0 win — Carlos Forbs of Club Brugge, who registered two goals and an assist in a thrilling 3–3 draw with Barcelona, and Mikel Merino of Arsenal, who bagged a brace in a convincing 3–0 triumph over Slavia Prague.
