PSV Eindhoven - Napoli 6:2

PSV Eindhoven delivered a sensational attacking performance at home, dismantling SSC Napoli 6-2 in a stunning European night that turned into a tactical nightmare for Antonio Conte.

It all started well enough for the Italian side. Scott McTominay, playing in a more advanced role under Conte, opened the scoring with a composed finish, giving Napoli a promising start. But things quickly unraveled.

In the space of just a few minutes before halftime, Napoli lost control. A clumsy own goal by Alessandro Buongiorno drew PSV level, and moments later, Moroccan midfielder Ismael Saibari slotted home a second to send the Philips Stadion into a frenzy.

After the break, it got worse for the visitors. Luuk de Jong played in Johan Bakayoko, who set up Tajon Buchanan — but it was Man who struck the third goal, putting PSV firmly in command.

The frustration boiled over for Napoli, and it was Gianluca Gaetano — already booked — who lost his cool and received a second yellow for dissent. With the Italians down to 10 men, PSV capitalized mercilessly.

Man added his second of the night to complete a fine brace, before substitute Ricardo Pepi got in on the act with a well-timed strike. Dutch talent Jerdy Schouten and youngster Mauro Junior added further gloss to the scoreline with assists, and Yorbe Vertessen helped set up Babadi Driouech for the sixth.

Scott McTominay pulled one back for Napoli late on, but it was mere consolation in a night to forget for Conte’s side.
