Yamal picked up a knock during Barcelona’s UEFA Champions League fixture against Paris Saint-Germain and subsequently missed the league match against Sevilla as well as the recent international break — a decision that sparked controversy in Spanish football circles.

However, the short layoff appears to have helped, with the club confirming that his recovery is on track. According to reports from within the club, both Raphinha and Fermín López are also expected to be available for selection.
