Dani Olmo Ruled Out for 3–4 Weeks, Set to Miss El Clásico
Spain international and Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo has withdrawn from the national team camp after scans revealed a muscle injury in his left leg. The 26-year-old has returned to Barca to begin treatment and recovery.
Olmo arrived for international duty carrying a minor knock, but further medical tests confirmed the issue to be more serious than initially expected. As a result, he will be sidelined for approximately three to four weeks — a timeline that effectively rules him out of the upcoming El Clásico on October 26.
The midfielder will now miss the remainder of Spain’s October fixtures, as well as matches with Barcelona in the Champions League. Club doctors expect Olmo to return to full fitness in the first half of November, barring any setbacks.
