He played a key role in helping Bayer Leverkusen win the 2024 Bundesliga title

Arsenal have officially confirmed the signing of Piero Hincapié from Bayer Leverkusen on a season-long loan deal that will run through the end of the 2025/26 campaign.

The 23-year-old Ecuador international has made over 100 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen since joining the German club in 2021. He played a key role in helping the team win the Bundesliga title during the historic 2023/24 season under Xabi Alonso.

On the international stage, Hincapié has already earned 46 caps for Ecuador. He featured prominently at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and has been part of his national squad for both the Copa América 2021 and Copa América 2024.
