Forward is expected to undergo a medical examination at his new club within the next 24 hours

The saga surrounding Rasmus Højlund's departure from Manchester United is nearly over. The Danish forward had made it clear back in May that he no longer wished to play for the Red Devils, and he has now found a new home.

According to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Højlund will be loaned to SSC Napoli for the 2025/26 season.

Romano also confirmed that Højlund agreed to the move to Napoli several days ago, and the forward is expected to undergo a medical examination at his new club within the next 24 hours.
