Zabarnyi is said to be fully committed to the move and eager to make the leap to Ligue 1

Illya Zabarnyi’s highly anticipated move to Paris Saint-Germain hit a brief snag this weekend, as the Ukrainian defender was unable to fly to Paris on Saturday due to incomplete paperwork on Bournemouth’s side, according to L'Équipe. His arrival has now been pushed to Sunday.

The 22-year-old centre-back has been identified as a top defensive target for Luis Enrique this summer. The PSG boss reportedly gave his full backing to Zabarnyi’s signing well before the end of last season and even presented the club’s long-term project directly to the player in a one-on-one meeting.

Zabarnyi is said to be fully committed to the move and eager to make the leap to Ligue 1. PSG are confident the deal will be finalized shortly after his arrival in the French capital.
