Sunderland eye move for Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk
Sunderland, newly promoted to the Premier League after a strong campaign in the Championship, are showing interest in Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk, according to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
As per Romano’s latest update, the English club has submitted an enquiry for the 26-year-old Ukrainian international but has yet to make a formal offer.
Riznyk, who has earned caps for the Ukraine national team, remains under contract with Shakhtar until December 31, 2027. His commanding presence and solid shot-stopping have made him one of the standout keepers in Eastern Europe.
According to Transfermarkt, Riznyk’s current market value stands at approximately €7 million, making him a relatively affordable option for Premier League sides looking to bolster their goalkeeping ranks.
