Nick Woltemade Transfer Saga: Bayern Munich Pull Out of Talks with Stuttgart
The long-running transfer saga involving Nick Woltemade has taken another twist, as Bayern Munich have officially withdrawn from negotiations with VfB Stuttgart, according to reports from the German press.
As revealed by journalist Maximilian Koch of Abendzeitung, Bayern have informed the player that they are stepping back from the deal, at least for now. The German champions are reportedly unwilling to make a third offer after Stuttgart turned down their second bid — worth around €55 million.
The 22-year-old striker will now return to Stuttgart and join the club’s pre-season training camp, though sources close to the player suggest he still dreams of a move to the Allianz Arena. Woltemade remains hopeful that talks between the two clubs could resume later this summer.
Whether negotiations are revived now rests squarely with Stuttgart. Having rejected two offers, the ball is in their court — especially since Bayern appear reluctant to increase their bid.
