Victor Osimhen is edging closer to a sensational and record-breaking transfer from Napoli to Galatasaray, according to multiple reports from Italy and Turkey.

Last week, it emerged that Galatasaray were willing to pay €75 million for the Nigerian striker, but the deal hinged on financial guarantees and a payment structure to be completed by June 2026.

On Wednesday, transfer journalist Matteo Moretto and Turkish insider Yagiz Sabuncuoglu confirmed that those conditions have now been met. Napoli have accepted an initial payment of €40 million, with two further installments of €17.5 million each scheduled before the 2026 deadline.

Moretto, who collaborates regularly with Fabrizio Romano, also reports that Galatasaray have agreed to include a unique clause: if Osimhen transfers to another Serie A club within the next two years, the Turkish giants will pay a penalty fee of €75 million to Napoli.

The only unresolved issue is Napoli’s demand for a 20% sell-on clause from any future transfer. However, Sabuncuoglu notes that the Italian side may be willing to drop that requirement to finalize the deal quickly.
