The future of Andriy Lunin at Real Madrid remains uncertain, but one thing is now clear: a loan move is completely off the table. According to reports from Bernabeu Digital, the Spanish giants have no intention of sending the Ukrainian goalkeeper out on loan — either within La Liga or abroad — considering it a move that simply doesn't benefit the club.

However, a permanent transfer is a different story. While Real Madrid aren't actively pushing Lunin out, they are open to selling him — but only if the offer is deemed reasonable and both parties reach a mutual agreement. There has been theoretical interest from several top clubs, including some from the Premier League, as well as within Spain, though no formal bids have been made so far.

Lunin featured in 14 matches across all competitions during the 2024/25 season, keeping six clean sheets and conceding 19 goals. Despite these solid performances, the 25-year-old remains the undisputed backup to Thibaut Courtois, who reclaimed the No. 1 spot after returning from injury.
