Anthony Elanga completes £52m move from Nottingham Forest to Newcastle United
Newcastle United have officially confirmed the signing of Swedish international Anthony Elanga from Nottingham Forest in one of the biggest domestic transfers of the summer window.
The 23-year-old winger has signed a long-term deal at St James’ Park, with his contract running until the summer of 2030. The transfer fee is reported to be £52 million plus £3 million in performance-related bonuses.
Elanga enjoyed a breakthrough season with Forest in 2024/25, making 43 appearances across all competitions and contributing 6 goals and 12 assists — performances that earned him interest from several top Premier League clubs.
