The 20-year-old English winger has signed a long-term deal at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea have announced the signing of highly rated forward Jamie Bynoe-Gittens from Borussia Dortmund, in what marks another bold move in their aggressive summer transfer campaign. The 20-year-old English winger has signed a long-term deal at Stamford Bridge, with his contract running until June 2032.

The transfer fee is believed to be around €60 million, according to reports — a significant investment in one of England’s brightest young attacking talents.

Bynoe-Gittens: "It feels amazing to join a club like Chelsea"

Speaking to the club's official media, Bynoe-Gittens said: “It feels amazing to join such a massive club like Chelsea. I’m really looking forward to learning from everyone here and giving everything I’ve got. It’s an incredible feeling.”

From Manchester City to Dortmund — and now, Chelsea

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens began his career in the youth academy at Manchester City before making the move to Borussia Dortmund in 2020. Since then, he has grown into a regular feature in the Bundesliga side’s first team — known for his pace, flair and ability to take on defenders.

He made 76 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund, scoring 12 goals, and featured in 23 UEFA Champions League matches, where he netted five times — showing he’s already capable of performing on the biggest stage.
