The two clubs remain in negotiations over the transfer fee

FC Bayern Munich are closing in on a deal for rising German forward Nick Woltemade, with personal terms now fully agreed, according to transfer insider Nicolo Schira.

The 23-year-old striker, currently with VfB Stuttgart, is expected to sign a long-term deal with Bayern running until June 2030. The two clubs remain in negotiations over the transfer fee.

Stuttgart are reportedly holding out for a fee of at least €60 million for their young attacking star, while Bayern are aiming to strike a deal in the region of €30–40 million. The Bavarian giants believe that figure represents a fair market value given the player's contract situation and profile.

Woltemade joined Stuttgart last summer as a free agent and quickly emerged as one of the breakout stars of the Bundesliga season. His standout performances continued on the international stage, where he played a key role in Germany’s U21 squad that reached the final of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2025.
