Sources close to the negotiations suggest that an agreement was reached well in advance of the public announcement

Cristiano Ronaldo has officially extended his stay at Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr until the summer of 2027, putting an end to recent speculation about his future in the Middle East.

The Portuguese icon, who turned 40 earlier this year, has signed a new two-year deal with Al-Nassr, reaffirming his commitment to the club with a bold message: "Al-Nassr forever!"

Rumours had been circulating at the start of the summer that Ronaldo was looking for a way out of the Saudi Pro League, reportedly unhappy with aspects of life on and off the pitch. However, the club has managed to convince their superstar to stay, marking a major statement of intent ahead of the 2025 season.

Sources close to the negotiations suggest that an agreement was reached well in advance of the public announcement. Al-Nassr even released a professionally produced video featuring Ronaldo to celebrate the occasion — further proof that this was a carefully orchestrated extension, not a last-minute decision.
